Staying Busy at Home

So you want to keep that beautiful child busy, right? Here are some fun ideas to keep things interesting at home! Consider making a surprise schedule for when your child wakes up each day--or choose from this list and create a schedule with your child in the morning. Keeping things interesting will keep your child happy and learning at home. Let me know if you have ideas to add to this list!

 

  • walk
  • bike ride
  • draw with chalk
  • help with laundry
  • build a fort
  • dress up (costumes or family members' clothes)
  • try on mom/dad/siblings shoes
  • call/video chat someone
  • ipad/tablet game
  • draw with...pencil, pen, markers, crayons, gel pens, pastels
  • paint with...watercolors, crayola paint
  • snuggle time
  • tickle fight
  • play with a pet
  • sort socks
  • have a whisper conversation
  • build with blocks
